Heena is Project Manager for the Big Education Conversation, England, an initiative to get people all over the country talking about the purpose of education. Inspiring young people and allied organisations to grow the Big Education Conversation, she loves hearing their exciting ideas about how education can be reimagined for the future.
Heena’s career started in project management in the UK, she then spent over a decade in India as a Montessori educator and gained a master’s degree in education. As Programme Manager at a corporate foundation, she worked closely with passionate social entrepreneurs striving to improve education for underserved communities.
Thinking, reading and talking about education is one of her favourite things to do. She deeply longs for a world where school encourages all children to be curious, brave and build connections – with each other and the environment around them.
