Rosie Clayton

Rosie joined Big Change in June 2017 to project manage the development and launch of the Reimagining Education project. She is also currently an Associate of the RSA working on the Cities of Learning pilot with DigitalMe, and has recently worked on projects with the Innovation Unit and School Design Lab, Gaia Technologies, and Digital Advantage. 

Rosie has been working in education for the past six years, originally through the design and set up of new types of school in England called Studio Schools which blend academic and technical learning, and in Autumn 2016 spent two months travelling across the USA exploring school design and innovation ecosystems in education through a Fellowship with the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust. She has since become part of a group of international education leaders convened by Getting Smart and the Buck Institute for Education in the USA to develop a set of standards for high quality project and challenge based learning.

Prior to this she was an advisor to a UK Cabinet Minister looking at issues around social mobility and community development, and has a wide range of experience across Government, policy, programme and partnership development, and campaigns.
