Jake is the CEO of TSIC UK. He co-founded the firm following four years working in New York with the foundation arm of the social-purpose business Peaceworks. Jake speaks regularly on panels and at conferences on the future of philanthropy, corporate community engagement and social enterprise. He has a degree in History from Nottingham University and won a fellowship to Columbia Business School’s executive education programme on social enterprise.
Jake prides himself on being an entrepreneur and applies this lens to the social sector. He is an UnLtd social enterprise award winner and an investor in a number of start-up businesses and, through his role at TSIC, co-founded the award-winning Future First programme which provides innovative career support to over 10,000 young people in the UK each year. When not advising on philanthropy, Jake is selling photo frames through his business, Frame Again.
